Paris Baguette (Koreatown)

By in 07: Mid-Wilshire

DSC04077.jpgA Korean bakery chain called Paris Baguette in Koreatown opened its not so new anymore second store on the 6th st. (also in Koreatown). Despite the name, the majority of their baked goods are puff pastry. They have many cakes and a eat-in cafe space.

I got take out: All good, fresh and not too greasy. Especially the Sweet Potato Stick, Chest Nut Custard and Red Bean and Custard. But they’re quite unhealthy to consume on a daily basis.

    Paris Baguette….^^;;;;;;
    Hardcore French bread(those dark ones with dried fruits or nuts or simply rye bread) probably aren’t the favourite kind for Asian~

    I’m not particular fond of those dark bread either…^^;; I also think it must be how I was raised to eat mostly ‘white’ bread…I just feel ‘bread’ should be light color ^^;;

    try these places instead.

    Galleria Cake House
    3250 W. Oymlpic Blvd. (western & olympic)-inside of Galleria Shopping Mall(level P2)

    Manmi Bakery
    869 S. Western Ave. (Western & 9th, next to the
    BCD Tofu House)

    Hi Koolk, I’ve been to both, I love Galleria Cake House (but their sausage bun has been either: disappearing too fast or stop making them) and Manmi (esp. love their chestnut bread). But they only have the usual bun with fillings. Paris Baguette offer something different (crispy puffs) that I like too.
