Wild Mushroom Ravioli with Jalapeño
I took Joan back to this Italian cafe Fritto Misto at Santa Monica (see previous entry) and still wow by the unusual flavor and how delicious they taste. I got the same Wild Mushroom Ravioli but with Garlic sauce instead. Joan’s Jalapeño sauce is way better, it has salsa in the middle and has a wonderful kick from the jalapeño spice. Hers are cooked more al dente too. Their vegetarian pasta menu looks more tempting than the regular ones actually. Next time I’d try that Sweet Potato ravioli.

Colourful pasta!! Is it salad in the middle?
It’s salsa in the middle~ I thought that was so nice to go with the pasta as its’ all chopped up, like half salad half pasta.
RP, the pasta in Fritto are more creative and unusual I think…and more~ But both are good!!!
