I often drive by this small sandwich and coffee shop on Melrose and mistaken it for “Wild Oats Market”, the grocery store (i.e. the confused me: a grocery store in that tiny space? just a take out counter? huh?). So I quickly learned that they’re two different places when my co-workers took me here for a quick healthy bite. The menu is filled with healthy sounding wraps and sandwiches. I got the Grilled Eggplant & Hummus with cucumber, roasted red pepper wrap. Good! It’s fresh and healthy tasting. It also came with a side: chips or fruits.

    Believe or not, I crave healthy food these days. I found this organic take-away near my work place and their bentos are all brown rice, vegetables and beans only! Perfect for dinner=diet time~. Hope I lose some weight!

    My weight and figure has been exploding too…so scary~~ That’s why we cut back on eating a lot a lot. When I was researching on restaurant in Paris, there’d be these “new trendy healthy cooking” one, and their menu sound so much like the kind LA has plenty here…^^;;

    oh not surprise at all. I crave healthy food all the time now too. Good rich food gets tiring and hard for the stomach…is healthy orangic food popular in Tokyo?

    Healthy organic food is still not so common in Tokyo that you can find one near your home/office without some net searching. And they are usually quite expensive~~. Actually I don’t mind the “organic” part, as long as it is vegetable-based and cooked in a healthy way, i.e. little oil/sugar/salt and no diary product.
