Bloom Cafe (Wilshire Vista)

By in 07: Mid-Wilshire, Favorite Food Entries

So I might be blogging about the same places too often, but I can’t help going back to them again and again, such as Bloom Cafe. It is still my favorite casual hangout at the moment. See my past entries: 1, 2.

Lemon Ricotta Pancake, very good (really has lemon flavor)! The lemon zest on top are such a nice touch.

A formerly daily special-only item has been added on the regular menu. WooHoo! Golden Fritatta: sweet red peppers, caramelized onions, oven dried tomatoes, black olives, feta cheese, jiicama salad. It’s fresh, multi-flavors and so delicious!

Their menu is unexpected and delicious, the food are always cooked with fresh ingredients and very tasty. Even the drink list isn’t your run-of-the-mill lineup (sadly Kombucha’s gone, the “Cleanser” is still there). I still haven’t try their dinner, so more blogging about this place to come. 🙂

  1. We’ve tried eating there, but lunch time is always packed! It’s so hard to get a seat . The last time we were there, we sat down at an empty table then some chick(more kind five letter word) ran over to us and yelled at us for taking her table. Obviously she scared us enough to let her have the table that was “unoccupied”. It must be that good for people to so defensive and emotional about it. Can’t wait to eat there…during the off hours.

    to White on rice couple: gee that woman is so rude. Luckily we always manage to get tables without waiting. May be try after 1:00 pm? BTW we love your blog! Can’t wait to see your cookbook.

    Nowadays I find myself going back to the same place again and again and again(if it is good) until I’ve tried every item on the menu and then I am satisfied. ^^;;;

    Haha Seat I see that, the entires are getting longer, at first I always go ‘wow what a value place!” then realize it’s not the same course ^^;; But that’s the respect one can pay to a restaurant.

    I went here when it was busy (around 2:30pm on the weekend!. I’d rather go back when it’s not so busy, because our service was definitely lacking. Did not get a refill on water and it took forever to get my coffee and our entrees. The food was good, though–love that it’s organic.
