Ord Noodle (Hollywood Blvd)

Ord Noodle
Our taste buds lean toward Asian food these days. Ord Noodle has been one of my most favorite and regular place to grab a quick cheap delicious meal. I always get the Noodle Duck soup over and over again, so one night I decided to branch out and try something different. Yen Ta Fo, or they called it the Noodle with squid, fish ball and seafood on the menu, was incredible! It was a lot better than Sapp’s. The ingredients were fresher and the broth was better. It’s got a lot of ingredients amidst the visually shocking tasty pink broth. There’s water morning glory, fish balls, Snow fungus (a common ingredient in Chinese cuisine, especially in soup), calamari, fried tofu and pig’s blood. I got “mild” for spicy level but I found it to be still a bit too spicy for me, next time I would ask for “no spice”. It has became my new favorite dish, I don’t have to get Noodle Duck soup all the time now.

It does look hot!! But less spice usually means less flavours~ maybe you could try to get used to the spiciness….this kind of tolerance can be trained!

It’s true, I had the no spice few days ago and it wasn’t as good…
    what a dilemma!
