Cafe Pierre (Manhattan Beach)

DSC02135.jpgDSC02139.jpgDSC02136.jpgMoroccan Beef Tagine $12.95 With fennel, apples, almonds, raisins & tomatoes served over couscous. Tagine is a Moroccan style stew cooked in a chimney shape pot. It tasted like any other stew to me. ^^; The meat is soft and moise and they have very dense aromatic flavor yet not ‘strong’ tasting enough for my taste ^^;;;; Red Yam Flan $7 I never had this before, Very YUMMY! \^o^/ I picked the dessert from the display tray and I didn’t know they’re so pricey…

    $7 is expensive! The Tagine sounds good with apples and almonds and all in a stew. But I am not a big fan of couscous I must say – doesn’t it remind you of…bird food?? ^^;;;

    yeah it totally does…kinda like wood grains too ^^;; Oh that reminds me of something funny. This graphic design teacher (a Snape-like mean bastard) I had told us about the kind of lame project he got, like designing a recipe book on couscous, we asked if he took the job, he said “Causecause” ^^;;
