Outlaws (Playa del Rey)

By in 14: Marina del Rey

DSC02521.jpgDSC02506.jpgSuper old entry. I debated myself should I post this or not. ^^;;; Hey what the heck, just treat this as a freekshow. I got dragged here by my collegues, it’s a restaurant right next to our office. I always joke about it because it seems sooooo bad and tacky. Their signage of a tough cowboy with beer and steak basically sums it up. I always see cops and guys in Harley Davidson go in there. Everyone’s been telling how crazily huge portion and all-about-meat the food are. When I walked in there I felt like an alien.

DSC02514.jpgDSC02517.jpgDSC02520.jpgI thought I was smartass to avoid the assault of meat: I’ll get a soup! Turns out their ‘soup’ is more like gravy — super thick meat gravy. This is among the grossiest thing I’ve ever had. My collegues got ribs, they don’t seem big in pic but they’re actually bigger and longer than my body. Taste gross too: dry tasteless meat and overkilled with these assulting BBQ sauce. All dishes came with these fried potatoes…one word: ruthless! The pool of oil are like 1 cm deep and the garlic butter cream is so sticky, fat and greasy. Nightmare~

    Ahahaha~~~it is strange that your friend would want to drag you to this restaurant! You are bound to hate it!! ^^;;;; Treat it as an experience, maybe, which makes you appreciate the small portion but tasty French food more. ^^;;

    Haha you can treat it as a joke…gosh
    We worked very late at office and needed to eat badly but no time, so I can’t afford being picky. ^^;;; My collegues (2 guys) always made fun of how greasy and heavy the food too, but I knew that they secretly LOVE it and craved it (really, big ribs, fried comfy food, what’s not to love right? ^^;;;)
