More Japanese candy toy. They are mascot keychains based on the work of 70s illustrator/Jazz singer/artist Ado Mizumori (水森亜土). Her character illustrations resemble a bit of Peanuts, except with more delicate, free form lines and soft water colors. I used to have some stationeries with her drawings when I was little. 😀 Tomoko once told me that she never liked her stuffs as a child because they were too complex (was born a minimalist) ha!. In recent years due to the retro-boom there was sort of a revival for her stuffs. Ado’s pen strokes and characters have this un-reproducable 70s charm. These keychains are incredibly tiny (see pill comparison), though quality is so-so. It is impossible to convey her sketchy style in three dimensional form, especially the pen stroke and water-color. It just looked like some generic mascots with the pop, clean solid colors.

Yeah actually it’s more like a mascot for purse/wallet zipper ^^;; You won’t realized it’s gone if it fell off, coz it’s so tiny~
