Been there long time ago (with Tomoko) and were underwhelmed by this supposedly famous udon place that were visited by lots of Japanese celebrities when they were in LA (the walls nearby doorway were fully patched with their photos and autographs). So here we are again. I had the Egg and Crab Udon, Joan had the Pork Cutlet Udon set. The pork cutlet was very good. I think it’s the soup that are too plain, too one-note strong salty water tasting.

ahhh flashbacks….
were there any new celebrity photos?
is book off still around too?
Egg and crab udon is something new I have never tried before~~
Books off is still there I think, I haven’t been there so I’m not sure, though I still see their ad on free papers. I didn’t check the photos, don’t wanna seem like a starstruck newbie..^^;;; There are like stingy tiny 2 pieces of crab in udon so it’s really just egg…^^;;
