Venice Bakery (Palms)

DSC04463.jpgHeard much about this Cuban (?) Bakery for their delicious meat pastries. Unfortunately when we got there they were all sold out. They sold out by 11am! We did grab some little beef pastries (they reminded me of Cantonese dim-sum pastries!) and this one I got: Guava Pastry! It is buttery but light, fresh and not too sweet. At first I wasn’t too convinced by the rough and unpolished donuts and cake on the counter, but these authentic & unpretentious, mom n’ pops style do offer good stuffs. The giant turtles look fun!
