Souen (NYC: East Village)

If possible, I’d want to come back to this Macrobiotic restaurant Souen as often as I could. I came here for breakfast and had the Mochi Waffle with Yanou (Grain coffee). The Mochi waffle was a bit hard, or else it’d be good. I’m strangely addicted to the fake coffee made with grain, it’s like ‘Malta’ drink. They have very good branch set as well, with fish, tofu…etc. very full set (too bad I’m the type who must have western food for breakfast ^^;;).

The mochi waffle looks so yummy *0*~~~!!! Haha fake coffee… I am surprised grain can be made to taste coffee-ish!

Me too! Definitely bread, sausage and egg, rather than rice and fish!
