Back to M Chaya again with co-workers. Lots of people raved about their Club Sandwich so I gave it try even though it’s got fake bacon. It’s good but doesn’t really live up to the hype, i.e. I would rather get something else next time. I forgot what that salad is, my co-worker got the (fake) fried pork rice bowl. I didn’t taste it but doesn’t look that good ^^;;;

Shared by three people: Strawberry moon pie and Chocolate mousee tart, both good. The moon pie (chocolate mousee with chopped strawberries inside) tasted very rich. I think I still like their Chocolate pear mousse cake more.

    oh my god I’d never seen an actual moon-pie before! wow, so that’s what it looks like!!
    I only know moon pies from American teachers referring to it in math problems and stuff…
    (like, they’ll say, “if Joan has two moon pies but Freda eats 1/2, how many left?” and stuff like that^^;;)

  6. Freda says:

    Why is it call moon pie (just because it’s round?) I keep thinking of Chinese’s moon cake…

    Ahi Tuna sandwich. Best I’ve ever had. I sometimes dream about it at night. The reason for M Chaya’s existence, and why I keep going back…

  8. Joan says:

    Is the ahi tuna sandwich same as the tuna burger?
