La Bottega Marino (Larchmont)

By in 07: Mid-Wilshire

Didn’t wake up early enough but we still had breakfast at this charming Italian place at Larchmont.

Polenta pancake, so delicious! Reminds me of Chinese’s radish cake.

Saffron Risotto pancake, I’ve never had risotto in breakfast context~ :d
DSC09544.jpgItalian sauage. There’re so many yummy items on menu that I wanted to try them all. Joan came here for lunch and pasta before but she couldn’t remember much (!?) Well I’m the type of person who would eat breakfast food as lunch in regular work days anyway…^^;;

    At first I thought it was omelette below the fried egg. ^^;;;

    Welcome Mikila~ Nice blog you got, I notice many places feature in your blog that I’ve never been too, awesome! You got detail pictures of the places too, great review~ (I can read a little Japanese). 😀

    Seat the risotto is very flavored and very good~ Though I wished there’re some sauce to go with it, either sweet honey or some salty sauce (one thing I like about gourmet breakfast is the unapologetic mixture of sweet and salty), like radish cake could use a little soysauce sometimes. ^^;;
