Danielle treat me lunch here since I helped her with the design of her business card. I’ve been here few times before, see here and here. I’ve gotten bored with their menu already (usual flare of rather predictable pasta and sandwiches). So I ordered the appetizer Ahi Tuna Tartare (yes yes a usual flare for LA restaurants too) for a change and find that it’s refreshingly good. The tuna tartare has rather unique flavors that’re different from the other ones out there. I like the fried lotus roots sides a lot. It’s filling enough as a main dish too. I can see myself sticking to this dish if I ever go back to this place.
