Honey’s Kettle Fried Chicken (Culver City)

A friend of mine got this ‘buy one get one free’ discount coupon to this Southern fried chicken place. It was originally from Compton, and this nice one at Culver City is all slick with giant TV. Lemonade and Fried Chicken. It came with an extremely buttery biscuit (golden and tempting but really, the intense butter taste scared me ^^:;), fries and ‘secret sauce’ (taste like tabasco + sweet & sour). The fried chicken are so crispy and light, the meat very moist and tender. VERY GOOD! *q* Later I read that their chicken potpie is very good too. I’d love to try their honey sauce with the fried chicken next time.

    I like the butter biscuit that comes with fried chicken! Do you eat the fried skin of the chicken as well? Most of my friends(girls of course) peel away the skin…makes me think what is the point of eating fried chicken in the first place. ^^;;;

    Totally, the fried skin are the best part, that’s where all the flavor’s at. I have way too many greasy food these days, I feel so bloated and unhealty 🙁
