Finally try Millie’s, a run-down neighbourhood favorites that’s known for their brunch. The Huevos Rancheros is good but I wish I got the Usual: sausages, potatos, french toasts and eggs instead! The french toasts are absolutely heavenly~~ Though the coffee mug was a bit icky in condition, the rimmed was all scratched and worn out….icckkk. Reminds me of “dai pai dong” at Hong Kong. ^^;; Their menu seems like just standard breakfast fare. I’m a little surprised that their food is not that cheap though. The food is pretty much same price range as chichi places (at i.e. Larchmont/WeHo/Venice). I also noticed the absence of dogs, an usual annoyance at most Silver lake and Los Feliz cafes on the weekends.

Yours look better from pic!
Dai pai dong hygiene but not Dai pai dong price is unacceptable though.
Yeah I like the charm of the “dai pai dong” feel (old run down interior, furnitures and tablewares, greasy but good food). But then the price is same as chichi…they can get away with that because of “hipsters.” ^^;;
