Yummy chewy buckwheat Cold Noodle

DSC01826.jpgKoreatown is always a guarantee destination for Late Night eats as you can find dozen of 24 hours restaurant. Most are general Korean eateries with similar offerings. This one, Hodori, is adjacent to another one that looks exactly the same with almost the same menu. But my friend suggested this one as it has faster service. Ironically they forgot my friend’s Rice Cake Noodle, we had to remind them several times (as many waitresses couldn’t speak English well). The later it gets, the more crowded. By the time we left (2:30am), the entire place is completely filled up with a full parking lot.

Hodori is on Vermont & Olympic.

    Yeah I’ve encountered several waitresses backing away smiling uneasily when they realize you don’t speak Korean ^^;;;

    Indeed so many 24hr Korean restaurants in Ktown, some of them manage to find a way to let you smoke indoor (by making a portion of it “sort of” outdoor), ingenious!

    Indeed, all those places were very cater to the lifestyle (must have smoking area!)

    Who would be eating at 2:30am???!! ^^;;;
    Since the customers are mainly Koreans, they don’t actually have to bother with non-smoking area, right?

    There’s this LA law that forbidden smoking indoor..so…^^;;;, Many Korean people loves to go eat these food after drinking and clubbing, so ktown has lots of 24 hrs eateries, especially porridage, soup, soft tofu type. But then sometimes you’d see normal looking family eating at such late hours too…odd….
