Japanese- Western food. This is their 2nd chance. We ate here before (my art director recommended it) and not only it was so-so, but our car got towed because of it. Maybe we didn’t order the right items so we’d try them again. This place is tiny and has a really nice country style interior. The coffee was very good.
Hamburg Steak with demi-glaze sauce $8.75 Very normal. The sauce is too light! I’ve had better elsewhere. The salad was good though.
Red Snapper with Japanese vinegar soysauce $8.75 Alright…ok… too light…
Verdict? No more 3rd chance 🙁 Perfect for a “I’ll go there if it’s nearby my office and want good food to fill stomach daily” but not qualify for a weekend lunch.

You should have asked the art director exactly which one on the menu he recommends. Though I think restaurants that are only good on certain items are not good restaurants…
I agree that a if a restaurant only has one or 2 things that’s good and others not good then it’s not good restaurants. good restaurant should be almost everything at least above average and then have some exceptional dishes.
