  1. Looks good~ reminds me of good old times. There was this cafe in Little Tokyo that I’ve been a faithful customer ever since it opened, for about 10 years. I eat their Hamburg steak all the time (but later I realize they’re not very good, other places made them better, but good to go back for sentimental value). And that place closed last year, the boss quit~ 🙁 Hamburg steak is a Japanese invention right?

  2. Hamburger steak…it just hamburger right? ^^;;;; But of course it uses fresh meat and meat only, unlike those in fastfood places where they mix flour and a lot of shit in to make it cheap. This restaurant is specialised in chicken and egg so they are really fresh. Also in a cold rainy winter day it is very satisfying to have like meat and egg…^^;;; Look how the rice underneath is completely covered by eggs~~~I was stuffed until dinner time, haha.

  3. So Hamburg steak is like better quality hamburger patty? (same way of making too?) ^^;; Though it seems Japanese way to only eat the hamburg steak with sauce and rice/eggs (without buns), I never see American restaurant offer only the hambuger patty for a meal.

  4. Oh you are right, maybe “hamburger” comes with buns, while hamburger steak is just the meat – pure meat without shit so that you can eat it alone, or with rice. I see I see. ^^;;;
