  1. 香港にはタロイモのケーキもあるんですね~!!
    タロイモって言うと、グアムとか思い出します。
    中国本土とかでもあるのかな??

  2. These all look great, dunno why but Northern Chinese food just seems better. Xiao Lung Bao…Dandan Noodle.. but most tempting of all is the Taro pancake. Gosh I had that long time ago as a child and love it so much~~ though with coconut and almond, it sound like southern Asian flair.

  3. The name of this place sound so “powerful”! ^^;;
    All the food looks very tempting, ????? are one of my most favorite chinese dishes!

    The taro cake has red bean in the middle as well. I wish the taro itself was sweetened though, cos it relies on the red bean and the coconut-and-sugar mix for sweetness and it is a bit not enough for such a big pancake. I like Shanghai food too! Cantonese food is delicate and mild to let the true flavour of the ingredients to stand out blah blah, but it is boring after a while…like the true flavour of prawn is always the same prawn flavour. ^^;;;

    Hey Joan, what words did you type? Somehow I can never read your chinese characters~~

    もちろんタロイモは中国もありますよ。
    デザートにも使うし、
    そのまま焼いて食べるし(屋台も売ってる)、
    料理にも、タロイモと鴨の鍋が昔からの好物です!
