0802010003Miso ramen(Left). Spicy miso ramen(Right). Just passable ramen – not the gourmet or “kodawari” kind in which each ingredient is special/particular. It is a huge bowl for 700yen with free rice during lunch time, but half of the bowl is beansprout. The small second floor space for female customers is nice though.
Menu(J) here.

  1. 1st floor is too ojisan for female (or out of concern for female fearing oil splashes and sweats? ^^;;) This only happens in Japan~

  2. Maybe Japanese girls are put off by high male-to-female ratio in ramen shops…especially if you go alone and you have to sit in crowded counter seats sandwiched between guys making a lot of slurping noise. ^^;; Call me paranoid but when I ate here the staff kept eyeing me everytime. There is another ramen shop I sometimes go where the staff will always give me a paper apron while he never gives to male customers. ^^;;
