マッシュルームとベーコンのスープ。
A nice bakery with a cafe at the basement. Lunch set is available until 3pm and after that it is cafe time when you can order sandwiches, waffle, cakes etc. I had the 1500yen lunch set. Tomato and potato salad. Mushroom and bacon soup is a bit oily.
鶏と白菜の白ワイン煮。
Chicken and chinese cabbage stewed in white wine. Chicken is very soft and tastes good in general but I think it is a bit too heavy-handed with salt. Bread is refillable.
ガトーショコラ。
Warm gateau-chocolat and ice-cream.
From a different visit. Waffle with banana, custard and caramel sauce, 600yen. The texture is more like pancake than waffle. Very huge for the price. Also the very good bread I bought from the first floor bakery.

Within walking distance is a popular “natural yeast” bakery called Le Vian(ルヴァン). Pictures of the bread I bought are here: 1, 2, 3. Plain-looking bread but shockingly nice! Actually I like the bread from Le Vian even more than Katane Bakery. Just personal preference though!
