Daily lunch(Wednesday): Okinawa-style stir-fried chopped carrot, tuna and egg. Every Wednesday you get “oomori”(large size) service for the soki soba(be warned, it is really big….). Okinawa maze-gohan is the same.

Quite a nice lunch spot. Okinawa soba is always good. Like all the daily lunches too. Though all the sets are very carb-heavy – that’s probably why they are so cheap. Also the curry rice is quite bad – boil-in-the-bag supermarket curry quality. ^^;;;

Very casual restaurant(more like drinking place) serving Okinawa food and awamori. Might need to share tables when it is busy. Food is very homecooked feel – not so salty and greasy – strangely though I felt insanely thirsty afterwards. I really like the fried rice noodles and the Okinawa soba. 3 of us shared all the food and drinks; we had one soba each and were stuffed to our throats, about 4000yen per person.

Jasmine tea creme brulee – very good! 2 kind sof grapefruit and sikuwasa(Okinawa’s citrus fruit) jelly.

All the food we ordered were very good. The pork feet and pork belly were nice but quite heavy – better not order more than one item of the fatty pork. Shared between 3 people, plus tea, about 2800yen each. Very good value!

It was so much food that I over-ate and felt quite sick afterwards. ^^;;; The fatty pork is soooooo soft and sweet and yummy, but I realised too late that I had the same fatty pork for lunch, so double heavy for me! ^^;;; The “peanut tofu” is like Panna Cotta, very creamy! I think I was most surprised by this dish. The pancake was no good, too much flour and made us feel very full. The fried fish is cute but too many bones and hard to eat. The fried goya(苦瓜) and egg was good, the ramen was fantastic, and dessert was only like 500yen! Very cheap and huge and good too. The restaurant looks very empty in the pic but that’s because we were early, it got so packed afterwards. I had guava liqueur drink which was good too.
