What? Even soya milk?! There is really nothing to drink during periods then....

seat | June 10, 2005 04:58 PM

Yeah, I always heard how 'cold' coffee is (and I kept drinking at my period time XO). That's why my mother can't drink coffee (even if she really wanted to) because she had a screw up stomach who can't stand things that're too 'cold'. Soymilk is very cold too (so she had to switch back to milk). The 'coldest' I heard is Green Tea.

Really??! But...it makes sense! Coffee has an image of "heaty", but it is actually cooling huh? Maybe shouldn't drink coffee and sugar during periods.

in my recent attempts at regaining my health, (=^_^=) I read that plants that grow in hot areas cool your body and vice versa...for example coffee and sugar cools your body; they both come from hot places and helps people living in the area to survive the weather....

I think maybe certain spice can cool you down, that's why people who live at Equator area eats spicy food? I never understand that...haha

What? 唐辛子 is very 「熱気」, i.e. makes your body hot, causes pimples to come out, causes toothache etc. Maybe there is spice that cools your body but I am not sure about that!! I think you should stay away from spice to be safe....hey, you know the "no-chemicals" cafe we were planning to go? My friend somehow went, see her blog here. It looks really good, let's go let's go!! If you can come out sooner, we can go before EP3~~

June 8, 2005 03:53 PM

I probably should stay away from thai food all together! haha
but in 東洋医学 they say spice cools your body right? so I think my cravings make sense!

tomoko | June 8, 2005 02:49 PM

Freda, tomoko>
Yeah! This shop is chain but the chilli is honestly spicy, not the half-ass Japanese-oriented kind, so I like! tomoko, can you eat spice though????

seat | June 7, 2005 08:06 PM

I crave spicy food when the weather's hot!

tomoko | June 7, 2005 05:19 PM

The Tom yum seems spicy~ The sausages are like eggs! Everything looks good, now I got craving urges for thai food too~

Freda | June 7, 2005 10:00 AM

だからシーさんのレポにかなり反応してます^^;
