Yeah, some are thick, some are crispy and thin. I like it thin too!

hahaha Italian tomato...gosh~~~

What about the skin of the dumpling? Any variation? I'm used to thin ones my mom made with, while I think some people prefer really thick ones.

It is not a festival, the gyoza stadium is always there inside the theme park which has other games...but you need to pay for a "passport" to play, and we just paid the entrance fee to eat. The pudding and the cream-puff events are only now though. There are varieties for gyoza, they taste very different! Like they have siso(a kind of herb?) in one of the gyoza, and we did try the boiled one with radish and soya sauce, most are pork meat but one of them is beef, and some are seafood. Most are grilled but the round ones are deep-fried so taste like deep-fried prawn balls in chinese restaurants. The pizza event is not that appealing because the main restaurant in the event is Italian tomato! Very bad chain shop!!

tomoko, you need to go to chinese restaurants to find soup gyoza maybe....Yeah, theme parks are just too tacky...but I craved gyoza and that theme park is very near to the cinema where I saw Batman so...^^;;

haha gyoza stadium, that sound so funny yet sooo Japanese!
crazy though, how can there be so many of them that's vary enough for you to try them all! What about the soup kind (non-fried ones) though?

so that place is inside a theme park, there'll be one for Pudding? *o*!!! I wanna go to that one~~~ Man, and the Pizza one? Are you going to go to them all?

So it's a gyoza festival held in theme park? o.O crazy so many dumplings!!! Do they taste different? Gyoza are one of the most filling food ever, oily, grilled~ ( but easy to get hungry soon) Caramel banana? Looks good!! :D

It was actually quite fun hopping and eating in different gyoza stalls inside the theme park, though probably the price is a bit steep, and there is a 300yen entrance fee. I went with a friend, so all the stuff we shared...still quite stuffed by the end!! There were two more gyoza stands we wanted to go, but just couldn't take in anymore food! Luckily we got some lucky draw cards and got a few free entrance coupons~~~so we can finish the last two off next time, hoho!
