Ristorante la lunga vita
Vegetable potage, octopus and anchovy peperoncino, chocolate mousse and coffee, 1300yen. I have never eaten peperoncino that is in soup! But the soup was good. The cheaper pasta lunch is 1000yen but I ordered "homemade pasta" which costs more, yet I don't think the pasta is homemade at all....oh well.

I thought peperoncino means pepper too but many pasta here are called that name but are just oil-based pasta that are a bit spicy but don't necessarily have pepper as ingredients...maybe it is a Japanese mis-name thing.
Oh yeah homemade pasta has uneven and rough shape and different texture!

Is peperoncino (pepper?) spicy? Ha how can you tell it's not homemade?
