紅花 日本橋別館

Sri Lankan super spicy chicken curry, 1500yen. Seriously.....it is HOT!!! Both my friend and I are quite used to eating spicy food but halfway through it, we were both breathing heavily and our faces were reddening and my friend kept drinking water and I started having a headache....^^;; But the first half of it was very tasty indeed....

Comments:

Yeah it was almost as spicy as the real curry I had in Sri Lanka! My stomach was alright afterwards though! The spice was strong but the curry was not oily, so maybe that makes a difference? Yeah, to enjoy really spicy food really takes training, which is hard in Japan cos most ethnics restaurants tone down the spicy level to suit Japanese taste.

Was your stomach ok afterward? The ethnic bowl is so nice~ I think I was traumatize once at a Thai restaurant by this super spicy thousand year old egg dish (but it was soooo good). What a pity that dishes like these taste so good but has a 'endurance limit"...^^:; you can only taste it at the beginning...
