060616 029.jpgどらやき(白あん、黒あん)、きんつば。The dorayaki are so good! Love the skin. I warmed it a little bit with microwave and the wonderfully sweet egg flavour was enhanced. Kintsuba is baked sweet bean paste with a coating of flour and water. I have never seen it before so I was all tourist-mode and taking pictures of the ojisan making it, but apparently it is just a common traditional sweet.

The stuffing are red bean and white bean(not sure what kind of beans it is...), and kintsuba is just red bean, not much variety really.

We just went for lunch and bought some sweets to take home. Friends I went with are all Japanese, of course not sight-seeing. ^^;;; Besides rain was pouring that day.

so are Kintsuba's like the stuffings of dorayaki? Though I said i didn't like sweet bean paste, but these indeed look tempting!
