Brilliant appetizers, Sze-chuan style, i.e. spicy.
洋葱一字排(スペアリブ、甘いオニオンソース)。イカのカレーサラダ。
Spare rib in sweet onion sauce, meat very soft.
Squid curry salad, a bit too sweet and the squid is deep-fried.
青筍の炒め。宮保鶏丁(鶏と野菜とピーナッツの炒め、スパイシーソース)。
Fried asparagus lettuce. V. good. Fried chicken and peanuts in spicy sauce.
カボチャスープ。八宝鴨、糯米飯詰め。
Pumpkin soup. Duck stuffed with sticky rice, in sweet sauce.
焼きとうもろこし。酒糟(さけかす)丸子。
一人で3000円ぐらい。
It is private restaurant again. The menu is decided by the chef, mostly Shanghai food, with some Szechuan appetizers. It is nice but today’s menu is sweet sweet sweet all the way, so a bit easy to get tired of the taste. Would have been good if the menu were more balanced between savoury and sweet dishes.

Looks really good! Yeah Shanghai dishes are often sweet tasting. I’m most attracted to the appetizer and the grilled corn!
Yeah the Szechuan appetizers were brilliant. Next time I go back I am going to book for a full Szechuan course – must be nice!

Yeah it is radish with a slice of sausage on top, v. nice! Hey you had similar thing for Christmas instead of turkey, right? ^^;;;
