Niagara Fall at night

By in Travel

DSC04033.jpgMore touristy postcard shots! They projected lights onto the fall every night at 9pm-Midnght. Though during this time of the year, the sky doesn’t turn black until almost 10pm (and sun comes up as early as 4:30am). I love this time zone where day seems so long. The circular shadow was casted by the hot air balloon, which was actually very very far away, amazing how much larger the shadow was.
DSC03786.jpgDSC04041.jpgThe fireworks show is only on Friday, Sunday and holiday. The left pic is view from US, right pic is view from Canada. I found the US view is better, as it has perfect scenic composition from Canada’s elaborate hotel buildings and the Skylon Tower. There’s nothing on US side to serve as backdrop for Canada. ^^;; It’s quite amazing that such spectacular (and expensive) fireworks is played at least twice a week. All those rip-off charges paid off?

Haha it does get boring with just some color lights. May be some laser show could be more interesting too?
