Bay Cities Italian Deli (Santa Monica)

My goodness this is the BEST sandwich ever! The always crowded and hard-to-park Bay Cities Deli tend to put me off, but their signature Godmother Sandwich is worth the trouble. The French bread is so well toasted and crispy that even my eat-while-work long time span it doesn’t get soggy. It has all kinds of italian ham (fresh and not salty at all) and cheese, jalapeno with vinaigrette. God I can still remember every heavenly bites as I’m typing… *q*

    What a luxurious treat for a eat-while-work!!

(btw, I can’t use internet at home at the moment…so inconvenient!)

their poor boy sandwich is my favorite! you can also buy the french bread in the store, it’s always freshly baked and warm,

I must say that I am totally impressed with your review site. Bravo! And yes, the Godmother from Bay Cities is unbelievable. I usually get a sandwich with the works, a old-fashioned soda, and a piece of carrot cake before I leave the place.

Thank you Willis~ 😀 I envied all those who live/work nearby Bay Cities who can just walk down there. A certain someone I know who work nearby yet she hates that place… >:( Tina, I would love to buy bread there after work, too bad the traffic is so impossible.
