Le Marmiton (Montana Ave)

By in 16: Santa Monica

DSC00927.jpgDSC00931.jpgOn last Saturday, we had to come back here after our original destination, “Le Petit Zinc” on Wilshire, does not open for lunch on the weekend >0<, we were starving so just went to nearby ones that we’re familiar with. Chicken liver Pate $9, very good!

DSC00928.jpgDSC00933.jpgMussels in Provencal sauce and Fries $12. The plate looks messy because the waitress lost her balance and almost pour it on me! The sauce is so-so (too light for my taste), butter and garlic would be better.

    Pate looks good! What is that black-ish jelly thing?

    Next time better phone to confirm/book in advance! I always book beforehand nowadays when I go eat with friends. Restaurants’ opening time is a moody thing I’ve learnt.

    is this the place i went with you guys and grace last time? i (regreted that i didn’t order their mussel). it smelled really good when we were there. i never had mussel with white sauce, always just garlic and butter. i wonder how it taste if they done it right. . .

    Yeah the same place~ I can’t tell what jelly is that made of ^^;;; And the mussels, the top ones are big but as I eat further down they get smaller and smaller, what a cheat ^^;;;;
