Our original destination Fish Grill didn’t open due to Tisha B Av (a Jewish holiday), so India’s Oven right across the street became our immediate plan b. Samosa (potatos and pea), fresh and hot. Charles and Juan both got the Chicken Tandoori lunch special.

Rob got the Vegetarian lunch special, not too sure what Saadi’s was…seems like Chicken?

DSCN7799.jpgI got the Lamb lunch special. The lamb was a bit hard to chew, I wish it wasn’t so overcooked. The sides are good though. All the lunch specials came with Matar Paneer (green peas and cheese curry, my favorite), Daal Makhni (Lentils spiced mildly), rice, Naan, Salad & Rita. The lunch special is a lot of food for under $8, very reasonable price. I haven’t try enough Indian restaurants in LA, but of fews I’ve tried this is definitely a much better one than the others.
