La Luna Ristorante (Larchmont village)

By in 07: Mid-Wilshire

DSC03087.jpgI’ve been wanting to write about this cozy neighorhood Italian restaurant on Larchmont Village for awhile, but everytime the pictures came out blurry. ^^;; We love to drop by here for a simple meal at night, especially to satisfy our sudden pasta cravings. The menu are simple yet more interesting than typical traditional offerings (no plain tomato sauce meatball spaghetti).

Homemade Pasta with Lobster Tail, Shrimp, Fresh tomato & Cream. Fresh, dense with lobster flavor, not heavy nor creamy…the combinations are irresistable. Very delicious.

Homemade pasta with Porcini, Champignon Shitake & Oyster mushrooms in White Wine sauce. I order this same dish over and over again because it’s simply too yum. Simple yet so flavorful. Light and healthy tasting too.

La Luna Ristorante
113 N. Larchmont Blvd. Los Angeles, 90004

Update Dec 2007: Sadly they closed forever due to contract, it was a good fight though.
