Ok not really budget eating but we felt like celebrating last week. Veggie soup, Belgian endive salad with Roquefort cheese and garlic croutons. Fresh and delicious! Tudor’s House (Santa Monica)

So I went back to try the scone. I love the dried blueberries and nut combine. The raspberry sauce is not quite enough for two pieces. Enjoyed it but still not craving it. ^^;; (I’m more of a mousse cake/pudding type than bread type)

Porto’s Bakery (Glendale)

For real, budget eating has started! I immediately thought of Porto’s Bakery and wish I can lunch there everyday, so cheap so delicious~ The cake is divine as always! The Black bean Grilled Chicken Sandwich is surprising good too (since I never liked black beans). And 1st pic are Cuban soda and Malta.

Fatty’s (Eagle Rock)

Back to the veggie place Fatty’s. Squash soup (sweet! nice!), Moussace (gratin of chickpeas, lentils, eggplant, mushrooms and onions spread between garlic mashed potatoes). Sloppy-ghetti (Veggie ground meat). All yummy~~
