Bistro du Soleil (Playa del Rey)

By in 14: Marina del Rey

DSC02386.jpgDeadline’s finally here~ Busy times made me appreciate the French bistro next door more. This is today’s special: Salmon Cakes $10 Surprisingly good! The salmon are very moist and flavored that the sauce wasn’t really needed.

DSC02352.jpgThis is from weeks ago. Ham and Cheese Quiche $6. Basic but rather good, I’m pleasantly surprise! Very cheesy, smells GREAT~ It’ll be even better if they added onion or spinach in it.

    What is in the salmon cake? Looks good. $10 is not cheap though, does it come with other stuff?

    It’s chopped pieces of salmon with some flour mixed I think? Yeah this place is a bit too $ for their quality ^^;; Expresso is like $3, sheesh! I only go there because it’s the best place in walking distance. There’s a restaurant right next to our office and everyone went there before except me! It’s a ‘scary’ looking big tough American steak/rib/burger place…everyone kept telling me about how gigantic huge the food are…^^;; I keep joking that I’ll go there once just for pictures (make sure I put my hand next to the food as scale contrast). But i just…can’t…bring myself to go there…^^:;;

    Share a steak with someone maybe??? I think American style spare rib can be tasty, as long as you don’t put that disgusting BBQ sauce(I always get bad BBQ sauce). ^^;;;;
