Balducci (NYC: West Village)

When I was still staying in Jersey City I worried about where to get (good) dinner (there’s nothing in Jersey City). I found on my train home I’d stop by this Gourmet Market Balducci. It’s newly opened last month and the Roman pillar former bank building is spectacular. I got this tasty Cream of Tomato Soup though the taste get a bit too strong midway ^^:;; NY has two other Gourmet retail chains Gourmet Garage and Whole Food. Balducci tried to position themselves differently by gearing more toward selling ingredients for cooks (not just can’t-cook-shit ppl like me who just buy take out). What bliss to not see the likes of regular supermarket Ralphs and Albertson here).

wow, I love old buildings, the materials are so luxurious like marble and real wood! so sad that all they use these days are all fake synthetic.:(
