Staying @ Manhattan

By in Travel

DSC08465.jpgSo like I said I’ve moved to an apt. inside Manhattan few days ago and it’s at the wonderful Nolita location. Right downstairs are all my favorite shops I Heart and an Italian hat shop and The Kitchen Club + Chibi’s bar. Around the corner is a drop-off laundry. The downside? The size is your average Manhattan apt ^^;; I like it though~ Especially with a giant TV hehe…

hey the apartment’s gorgeous I’m so jealous!
nice part about small apartments is that you don’t have to spend a lot on electricity and gas, especially during the winter when its cold! ^0^

wow so nice, even though looks so tiny. The neightbourhood is amazing, look at all those cool little boutiques downstair!

Hey at least it seems bigger than my apartment in Tokyo!

  3. Freda says:

see that ‘wall+doorway’ to bedroom? That alone already WAY up the value of the any apt. in Manhattan…^^;;; even though the sq.ft is same as a studio.

  4. seat says:

    Wow so trendy so nice and….so big in my eyes!! ^^;;;
The area looks fun to eat/shop around in but not too busy/noisy.

  7. Freda says:

Hi Danny, yes I went to UCI before~ OH MY the coincidence…the internet world is so small! 0_o. How did you find this blog? Did you go to UCI roughly around 96-98 ish too?

  8. Freda says:

haha Seat, maybe apt. in Manhattan is already sorta ‘big’ compare to Tokyo? ^^;; The area is fantastic, the architecture are so beautiful. Right across the buildilng is an historic church, very gothic~ 😀

oh, my sis reads your blog all the time and she gave me the url because you started to blog about NYC rst. i was at UCI 96-01. i think i met you over the summer in a digital arts class? you knew one of my friends, Diana, she was a Studio Art major.

  10. RP says:

Hey the place looks really nice, and IMO already big enough for just one person! The building itself also looks fabulous, you really are having a great time there :-)!

  11. Freda says:

Wow that’s great Donny, thanks for checking out my blog! I remember those Digital classes! Feel free to recommend me good food in NYC! I don’t remember Diana too well…but it’s amazing you remember me just from the my name! I’m only staying here till end of the month…so I’m trying to eat and see as much as I can! 😀 Too bad work is getting busy..

haha i vaguely remember meeting a girl name Freda that has a twin sister. =)
u MUST go to cafe habana for their famous grilled corn!! its on elizabeth and prince. don’t go to the one at the corner, walk up on elizabeth (towards Houston st.) they have a take-out place that serves the same food. go there, u can always find seats there and get their grilled corn.

balthazar in Soho is my favorite french rst.

for pizza either lombardi’s in Soho or Grimaldi’s in BK.

the cocoa bar or the chocolate room for great desserts/coffee in park slope.

for good veggie soup and bread you gotta go to B&H diary on 2nd ave and st.marks.

hey..if u need an eating buddy!! i’ll be happy to join ya!! =D

  13. Freda says:

Wow Donny thanks for the recommendation! I’d try cafe Habana tonight, it is so close to where I’m staying~ 😀 Do you live in Soho? Sure definitely I’d love to have a dinning partner~
