AH so the next night I know better and stick to my natural habitat: cute French cafe! ^^;;; Lots of loners and cooler people, yeh! Regular French cafe food…no expectation no disappointment. The Mushroom pate is very chewy and nice. However that coffee (very good) kept me awake all night.

It is nothing special to purposely try, but when you’re tired and battered from the wind+rain and saw that puppy sign, it’s a savior, and a great cute little place to settle, especially if you’re alone. 😀

Oh I never tried but one of the best cafe/coffee+food spot I was told is MUD at East Village, have you try that? I passed by it all the time but it’s always fully packed, can barely stuff myself inside.

where are you usually? because there are MUD trucks everywhere!! like the ice cream man they drive trucks around the city serving MUD coffee. there’s one on Astor place and one on Union Sq right next to the Virgin Mega store

I’m usually at East village and Nolita, but anywhere in between Chelsea to East side is my walking route. I didn’t notice those mud trucks, are they there at night too?
