Bagel Zone (NYC: East Village)

By in 03: NYC

Last batch of NY photos that I thought I’ve lost (recover in my work computer that just arrive today)!

DSC08815.jpgFinally had bagel~ XD This is the other breakfast I had during that last hellish week. My friend show said this one is the only bagel place that has whole grain bagel. I prefer the normal kind, with tofu cream cheese. Very good! 😀 I love the interior, like a antique garage. The old man in the pic seems to be related to the owner and a regular hang/help out. He came by and showed us an old b&w photo of the his young self and his wife. My friend also got me this very yummy pastry from Thompkins Square Bakery.

tofu cream cheese sounds good! the tofu factor lessens the guilt of eating cream cheese 😀

What? It doesn’t look like a bagel! ^^;; But it looks really good! Especially I haven’t had any nice bread recently, my mouth is watering~~~

I’ve never had tofu cream cheese before, what is it like?!

Totally~ The word tofu suddenly made ‘cream cheese’ sound healthier (but not really ^^;;). It taste not as milky, more of a soy taste, I love it! I tought they don’t look like bagel as well, but that might be because I’ve only had machine-made one in chained before. ^^;; These are hand roll~~
