Crème de la Crêpe (Hermosa Beach)

Marine: Fresh scallops and shrimps prepared in a white marine sauce (jumbo scallop, sauce a bit light but taste very fresh), Montagnarde: Raclette cheese over proscuitto and potatoes cornichons (love the stinky cheese).
DSC00183.jpgCrème de la crêpe: Bananas, nutella, coconut, “Flambé” with Grand Marnier. Didn’t have Sunday brunch for two weeks in a roll, instead we’ve been driving out to the beach. We found this authentic French creperie‘Crème de la Crêpe’ at Hermosa Beach. French Crepes on France vs Korea World Cup game~ 😀 The entire restaurant turn their seats and clue their eyes to the screen, all the waiters (all dressed in French team uniform) and chefs stopped working (and customers stopped eating) at the last 20 mins of the game. When Korea tied that goal, everyone screamed in horror and disbelief. After the game’s over, the waiters were all a bit down (Group G’s situation is so intense now). An Italian guy walked by and asked the waiters outside “did you guys won?” “No…tied…” “Ah that’s too bad, that’s what happened to us yesterday too…” (it was more painful for the Italians really).

    Yeah Korea is tough, losing but somehow holding on…Japan tied Croatia too.
