Tender Greens (Culver City)

By in 13: Culver City

DSC03512.jpgSince certain healthy people in our crowd was reluntant to go here, we ended up next door at this salad place called Tender Greens. It seems like a fast food joint or cafeteria type of operation but with ‘healthy’ salad.
DSC03518.jpgI got the Ahi Tuna set, the teenager staffs on kitchen counter assembled this very quickly. Very fresh and clean tasting and got enough salted taste. The veggies came in barely chopped form though. My friend had a basically half chopped lettace ball. I tried my friend’s Mashed Potatoes, it was buttery and golden, good. This would be perfect for a student cafeteria or if you want quick, fast & good gourmet-ish well balanced salad meal.

Tender Greens…I would never have entered a restaurant with a name like this before, but nowadays I am all changed and am eating a lot of salad. As much as I hate raw vegetables, the word “anti-aging” is enough to make me convert…

I have liked everything I have eaten here with the exception of the Aztec Chocolate Brownie. I think it may have been a couple days old…

Have you tried Cafe Ugo? Its right around the corner.

I haven’t tried Cafe Ugo yet, Sarah, it’s that very popular Italian place right? I’m always curious about that~

Seat, haha salad is good once awhile, but I can’t help thinking how easily they can be made…like Some restaurants dare to charge you $10 for a plate of spinach that’s most likely from a bag with a bit of dressing…
