More exploration of Chinatown. I found this tiny joint called QT Sandwich that specialized in Vietnamese Banh Mi. It is run by a mother and daughter team.
I always get the House Special that is the classic deli/cold cut + pate one. The baguette is big (unlike the narrow ones used in the chains over at Los Angeles) so it was very satisfying. The baguette is fresh and all the ingredients are tasty. It’s $4 of heaven!
When the grandma is in the house, they’ll have the Chicken Pho. I switched it up with the delicious Grill Pork Noodle sometimes, the pork are very flavored and tender .
They only have a few seatings as it’s a to-go type of place. I gave the to-go menu to my work place so we got delivery from them couple times. There is a Little Saigon in Philly that I hope to check out next time.

I love Pho, wish I could try
$4 for that sandwich is SO cheap!!
is there a big vietnamese community there??
Yeah it seems like as the Little Saigon is quite prominent. I just read this on Wiki: The Vietnamese sandwich banh mi is gaining much attention in Philadelphia and is now competing with the Philly Cheesesteak. 😀 I’m back in Philly this week (and next 2 weeks), and I went back to this place already 😀
