French Toast and Pear Tart. 😀 Delicious!
I went window shopping at Soho the 2nd day. Despite the long walks and hunger in the bitter coldness, I insisted on finding a cute cafe for breakfast. I finally found one inside the L’Occitane shop (a lot of shops in NYC have cafe inside, an aspect I like about leg-torturing metropolitan cities). While I was eating, the fire alarm in the store accidently went off. A fire truck arrived so fast and a troop of firemen came in to inspect. Despite the loud alarm, everyone remained calm and get on with their lives seconds later as if nothing ever happened…^^;;

The French toast is so Christmasy and the pear tart looks so good!!!
Fire alarm, haha….a very common havoc I got so used to when I was in UK. The building must be old and over-crowded.
If I knew the French toast would be so fruity and dessert-like I wouldn’t have get the Pear tart haha. Everywhere is old and over-crowded in NYC~ The buildings are all so old, yet not very ‘romantic’ feel, just historic and old and dirty. Almost all the restaurants’ I went, the bathrooms are downstairs for lack of space. NYC really make me feel like the possibilites of a very alive underground kingdom down there somewhere…^^;;
>freda so did you decide to stay in NY extra days for some christmas shopping? the bus. trip happened in such good timing, huh! ^0^
I stayed NY for 2 extra day because I’ve never been to NYC before so I want to see the city as much as I can. I didn’t do much shopping and now I’m kinda regret ^^;;;
