Haejangchon Dolgooi (Koreatown)

By in 07: Mid-Wilshire

Finally I can try their stoned grilled BBQ. We got the $44 set (shared by 3). Came with a bottle of soju.

None of us dared to eat those chilli pepper (you just dip it with miso paste and bite them). Love the chill pear soup and dried squid.

Kimchi pancake on the side but they got soggy because we left them unattended. Beef Brisket.

The dippings. Also came with these big slices of pickled radish (not in photo) that you can wrap the beef (yum!). Marinated Beef Rib.

By then we were already so full. The meal ended with a very yummy Sunrise Soup and Kimchi Fried Rice. The seaweed gave it such a heavenly smell. So oily but GOOD!

Unfortunately we were too busy chatting that a lot of the beef were burnt. ^^;;

    Hahaha, you left the pancake unattended and left the beef to get burnt?! Your conversation must have been very absorbing…^^;;

    The bowl of soup is sitting “on” the rice??
    Some chilli pepper look scary but are actually not that spicy~ you should have had a little bite and tried~~

    It does get stressful to eat BBQ, always have to be attentive, to flip side…I guess it’s best for people with desperate hunger with single track mind focus on FOOD. ^^;; After the beef round the waitress scrap all the leftover and pour the rice on top. After we ate a bit of them with a little ‘space’ left over, she put the pot of soup to cook there. ^^;;;
