Surrender to thirst and went inside this bar+cafe which was blasting horrible pop music at the Beverly Center mall. Mixed Berry Daiquri $7 good~ Crab Quesadilla $5.65 Cheese and fake crab.

Cafe Midi (La Brea)

This French cafe is within a home decor store (an extension of American Rag Cie, a hip vintage + new clothes shop, which is right next door). I was confused at first because I saw people eating outside but when I went over to the door to check the menu, all I saw were bunch of home decor stuffs. Then we caught up with a waiter who brought us all the way inside the very end of store then I see the cafe. It’s weird that the store items surrounded our table too.

Vienna Cafe (Melrose)

Lunch at Vienna Cafe on Melrose. The last time I ate here was 3-4 years ago (before I stop shopping at Melrose)! It’s supposedly an italian place but since being in Hollywood and all, lots of fusion stuffs there (Ex: ahi tuna…taco…). Carbonara $8.75 Very very delicious!
Egg and steak breakfast $9, Hawaii Maui Taco $9, not mine so don’t know how they taste like. But really…$9 for a breakfast…? 0_o

Ruen Pair (Thai Town)

Lunch at Ruen Pair the day before. We dragged along someone who hasn’t been there before, and as expected he’s instantly hooked. I had the Ruen Pair Egg Noodle ($6.55) that can be served soup or no soup. ‘No soup’ sounded odd so I tried it. It is very salty ^^;; good though! The newcomer tried this Curry Chicken and Bean dish ($6.50) that he kept saying “my god it is soooo good” the rest of the day.
