Peach and custard Danish, Cherry Danish both $1.50 Forgot what the 3rd one is, Raspberry tart I think. My mom ate it so I don’t know how it tasted like. The two danish are very good.

We drove by this cute little bakery on the same street and settled there. And boy what a pleasant surprise! It is a Japanese-owned French cafe/bakery.
Ice tea $1.75, suprisingly good!
Iced Caramel Latte $3 Good!
Croque Madame $7.95. Ham Sandwich with Creamy cheese and egg on top. It sound normal but surprising taste very very good! The combine of creamy cheese, bread, ham and the raw egg york is so good!
Spinach Onion Potato Cheese Quiche $4.50 Portion too small~~ Very hot and creamy, nice.
Pear and raspberry cake $4.35
Strawberry tarte $4.25 Both very very delicious! The Pear one is a bit light tasting though. The Strawberry mousse was so good, the crust of the tarte is very crispy and fresh too.
This place is definitely on my list of most favorite restaurant! Though it’s kind of far. It’s located in a business area so there are lots of business men and women go there for lunch, the bakery seems very popular that there are occasionally queue.

Mushroom with sea urchin cream sauce $8.50 It has all kinds of mushroom: button, shitake, enoki, portobello, oyster, girolle…etc. in very strong sea urchin flavor cream (though I only saw stingy little 2 bits of actual sea urchin). Yum~~
Bolognese with Egg and Bacon $6.25 Basic is good, yum~~

Secret Toy Chest @ Nucleus

Went to the reception party at an art+toy exhibit at Nucleus, an art books + designer toys+ T-shirt + indie comics store & gallery opened by bunch of Art Center alumni (vero’s friend) at Alhambra. The exhibit is called Seret Toy Chest and it features designer toys and illustrations from local artists and international artists. The show poster/flyer is so cool!!!

Salty Plum with Soda $1.50.
Shrimp cake vermicelli noodle $5.50. Very delicious! The Salty Plum drink is one of my absolute favorite, can’t get enough of it!
Beef Ball Soup $4.25 The Beef ball is pretty good (I’ve had better). Caramel Flan $1.25. Flan is fake tasting (like the kind you make from Package from supermarket).
