Saw these giant candy sculpture+painting while walking around a block of Union Square with lots of gallery.
Also at Union Square, we saw a Salvador Dali show, silk screen printing of pencil/ink drawings of his Mythology series. On one of his drawings of hippies, there’s a quote from Dali on the wall, “I don’t need drugs, I am drugs.” 😀
The Kidrobot on Haight St. displays latest fashion designer sets from the Visionaire magazine. Left: Comme des Garcons, Maison Martin Margiela, Gucci, Vivienne Westwood, and Christian Lacroix for Pucci. Right: Giorgio Armani, John Galliano, Stefano Pilati for Yves Saint Laurent, Helmut Lang, and Jean Paul Gaultier.
These awesome oddities are from a closed collectible shop called “ARIA” in Little Italy. The stuff they have are so cool, like Mark Ryden paintings.
