Bino’s European Coffees & Crepes (San Diego)

By in 05: US Other

We drove 2 hours down to San Diego for a getaway over the weekend (a very last minute decision), we found ourselves nothing to do nor see in Coronado Island (errr ^^;;). However this is redeeming. 😀

Hidden around the corner, once I stepped inside I knew this is my favorite type of cafe, on the other wall (not in photo) it is full of original artworks and art nouveau decor.

We were too late and the cook has left already. However they still make crepe. Beef Ratatouille Crepe (right) and the owner’s recommendated Crepe a la Mexicaine (left), MY GOODNESS they’re DELICIOUS! Incredible! The mexican crepe has very fresh and yummy ranchera sauce. ARGH wish I lived nearby it.

    The crepe looks thin and soft, the type usually used in crepe dessert? So much ingredients though…like that of a pizza!! ^^;;;

    yeah we went into that famous hotel, that was it…19th century Americana with very dated 70s update look, wasn’t impressed much. Maybe you can only experienced the greatness only by living there…with a view to the ocean. ^^;;

    Yeah seat, the crepe is soft but with pizza like toppings, amazing! 😀
