Ike Sushi (Hollywood)

By in 08: Hollywood, Favorite Food Entries

Going with the ‘sushi for birthday’ trend, we celebrated Charle’s belated birthday at Ike Sushi. Omakase: everything is incredible! For 4, include sake and tips: $210!

Toro melted in your mouth. The scallops are AMAZING!

Grilled octopus is so soft and tasty~ The Japanese Mackerel is very good (I used to only have it cooked and fishy) and the clams is so good too. Uni…*heaven*

I missed taking pictures of more sashimi and sushi here and there. Also I was a bit embarassed that the waitresses all recognize Joan as she came here TOO often with her friend. ^^;;

    You sound so impressed! The seafood looks very fresh, especially the prawn! Grilled octopus is interesting, I wanna try that. Why were you embarassed? Joan was not there? btw, it should be “omakase”=おまかせ.

    The comment box for Tantra closed already? The sweet and sour potato salad sounds weird! Also chocolate samosa…never heard of~. Though I can’t quite stomach those authentic Indian sweets, like fried flour with heavily sweet syrup.
